We are devastated in our little family. We all voted YES and are absolutely terrified for what this will do to aboriginal communities already suffering so much and their mental health.

So much for "fair go and mateship". Two thirds of Australia are ignorant idiots who apparently still "didn't know" and believed the lies they were fed.
Or they are racist, malevolent, supremacist bigots.
Or they find First Nations totally irrelevant in their lives and just do not care.
Or all the above.

Australia did the right thing for Gay Marriage.
And many Australians are protesting now for peace in Israeli-Hamas war

How ironic ppl can't do the right thing for their own.

I cant even begin to think how traumatising it must be for #FirstNations people in #Australia to listen to the verbal garbage coming from #VoteNo and realise the #settlers are STILL making decisions about them and their lives, in the most stone-hearted, cruel ways.

If #VoteYES23Australia doesn't win, AS IT SHOULD, Indigenous Australians will know they are being infantilised, excluded, marginalised, denied a #voice ongoing, over and over again by ppl who don't give a shit about their lands, communities, cultures and history.

Ill be heartbroken.
