I finally finished the series Young Sheldon.
I bawled my damned eyes out for over an hour while watching the last few episodes.
Even though I *knew* what was going to happen (because it's mentioned in The Big Bang Theory), it still hit me so damn hard.
That is some good TV writing. Wow.

One episode of Young Sheldon to go.
I’ve enjoyed it immensely. The characters around Sheldon are superb creations, especially Missy, Dale, Dr Sturgiss, Dr Linkletter, and others.
Sheldon is frequently an obnoxious jerk, and the writers don’t sugarcoat it. And the religious stuff is cloying to me.
Started the final season of Young Sheldon. The 7th.

Today I realised that McKenna Grace who plays Paige, a maths prodigy and rival of Sheldon in Young Sheldon, also played the young maths prodigy in the film Gifted.
She’s fantastic in both.
The Mary Cooper religious stuff in Young Sheldon Season 5 is very cloying.
I hope it is dialled back a bit in S6&7.

The other storylines are great. Dr Linktetter trying to get Mary to say Sheldon could’nt go on the road trip to the radio telescope is hilarious.

Almost finished S3 of Young Sheldon.
The production team and writers don’t shy away from depicting Sheldon as a selfish jerk in many situations.
Overall, I’d classify the show as an ensemble dramady with a lean towards the comedy side of the scale.
The other family members and ancillary characters are just as crucial as Sheldon.
I like it a lot.
The world needs a Missy Cooper spinoff series from Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory.
