Acting realistically and believable in a TV show can be achieved by many tricks

An Episode of Stargate SG1 (Season 1 - "Solitude") had Sam (Amanda Tapping and Jack (Richard Dean Anderson) stuck in am ice cave after the Stargate malfunctioned.
The production crew rolled in snow and ice and lowered the temperature under the freezing point so the factors had to crawl in snow and ice and where cold while the characters fought for their survival in the story.
Jack O'Neill was hurt and he maybe a tactical good thinking person but not a tech specialist so Dean's role was to crawl in the cold while Amanda character Samantha Carter had to use ice cold tools at one point she simply couldn't keep it straight anymore after hours in the cold and this blooper happened.

Cela dit ca va être chaud de gérer une continuité avec l'idée que les humains sont devenus hégémonique et sages dans la galaxie, quand on voit aujourd'hui poutine, trump etc...
Ca faisait deja surréaliste par moment cette "sympathie"

Et surtout comment ils vont intégrer une divulgation, et l'arrivée des croisement entre les tech aliens historiques et nos avancée actuelle comme l'IA

Ca va casser l'effet whoua de l'époque car on avait pas encore de robot qui parlent et qui marchent, ni de techno laser, de drones etc...
Et un reboot j'ose pas, a cette époque je sais pas pourquoi, ca serait pas pareil 🤔

So there's a new #Stargate series on the way. Not directly connected to existing series but I've seen it mentioned that old stars might turn up here and there.

Thought of someone they should have come back.

Long ago, before the universal infestation of SI in the civilised world, we used to have some fun units in physics which included the Ångström, indicated by "Å". So, the stargate always makes me think of tiny tiny things.

#Stargate trivia:

The seventh chevron, representing earth, looking like a lamda with a ring above it, reads very differently to a Swede. Just as with metal bands that add umlauts because it "looks cool" it causes us to pronounce their names completely different to what was intended.

It looks like our letter Å, the 26th character in our alphabet. It's pronounced simular to the sound "oh!" in English, which means that read literally we pronounce Stargate as "Stargoat".

Aside from my personal envisioning of what a new #Stargate series would include. The only thing I truly desire for the new series is a physical, spinning gate. And as many practical effects as possible.
