Haven't seen it yet but "Is This Thing On?" is a well rated movie directed by #BradleyCooper.

It hasn't received much recognition at the major awards ceremonies this year but #LauraDern won the #AARP's "Movies For Grown Ups" Best Actress Award.

I plan to watch it online somewhere on the Net where it soon should show up for free.

It's been a while since I've gotten a love letter from #AARP. Was hoping they'd forgotten about me. GUESS NOT.

#AARP's annual movie awards show -- "Movies For Grown Ups"-- aired tonight.

I saw most but not all of the nominees & the winners. The notable movie winners are:

Best Picture -- Hamnet
Best Director -- Guillermo del Toro (Frankenstein)
Best Actor -- George Clooney (Jay Kelly)
Best Actress -- Laura Dern (Is This Thing On?)
Best Supporting Actor -- Delroy Lindo (Sinners)
Best Supporting Actress -- Regina Hall (One Battle After Another)

I saw & really like Hamnet, Frankenstein & Sinners. Wasn't a big fan of "One Battle" & didn't see "This Thing" or "Jay Kelly" but plan to watch them as soon as I can.

Either #AARP recently had a security incident and therefore reset everybody's passwords without admitting it, or they periodically reset people's passwords without telling them, or they're just incompetent, because I just had to reset my password, which is stored in a password manager, so I know I was typing it correctly, but the site wouldn't accept it. #infosec (1/4)

Rising prices on eleven products just scratches the surface. These are products AARP chose to alert members about. Inflation is one of many parts of the economy that Trump and Republicans are managing very poorly. Trump promised he would bring down prices. This is another area where he has betrayed voters.

Washington Post: "An increasing number of middle-aged and older adults — especially those in their 40s and 50s — are lonely, according to a report released by AARP, a nonprofit advocacy group for older Americans. Among the loneliest are adults 45 to 49 years old (49 percent identified as lonely), as well as respondents who never married (62 percent); are not working (57 percent); or whose household income fell below $25,000 a year (63 percent)."
