Click the Vivaldi logo next to the address bar, click on add page too, and select your home screen, then select "install".

You now have your own app for Sharkey. This will work for Misskey, CherryPick, and Mastodon too.

Maybe? I hope they get implemented in such a way that they won't be suitable for abuse (which is why we haven't had them until now).

I also wonder how they will be implemented within #AcrivityPub and how they'll look on non-mastodon instances, as I'm not actually on Mastodon (I'm on GoToSocial).

P.S., I always found it humorous to hear people aggravatedly clamoring for "Feature Y from Xitter," since I clearly remember when Twitter had:

• No pictures
• No videos
• No (automated) retweets
• No actual repiles!!!
• Only mentions

What concerns me about the #fediverse / #acrivitypub from a user‘s perspective, is the inflation of identities that will occur as soon as you want to use feature that the platform you started on does not offer.
I am aware that this also can happen, when you use closed services, but …
A) this on of the things that make Google or Meta attractive.
B) federation to me implies the integration of several services under one identity.
So, is a #FederatedIdentity something that is being considered?
