Here's last year's Mail Carrier watercolour and ink sketch for comparison. More realistic and done as a portrait sketch of a postal worker who was having lunch in his mail van.

The year is almost over. Since January 1st I've been creating a daily piece of art. They are 3x3 inches, primarily done with watercolour. I use Beam Paint Stones, a Canadian company based in northern Ontario. Over the summer I started outlining my work with black ink and recently moved from felt pens to a very nice fountain pen. I also sometimes use acrylic paint to add details.
