I recently read that this type of enumerative driver many people needing to use due to other reasons nuts.

I do understand the reasoning behind it: search optimization.

I think I just found a conceptually easy solution: would it be possible to define a type "goto" command for a specials character that lets the reader jump to the ?
(Could also be placing "" at the beginning.)
