Content: I'm just about through the third disk, which should put me nearly halfway through the book. I don't really like it so far! There's a lot of weird moralistic stuff, mixed metaphors and false dichotomy, and in many ways the dystopia seems less truly dystopian and more like it's just someone else's utopia. The book just doesn't seem that good! I'm going to see it through to the end and maybe my opinion will change, but so far it's no 1984 or F451.

Medium: That's problem number one with a book on CD - there's 7 CDs! Faffing about with two trifold CD cases with 3 to 4 CDs each in them is a mess, trying to figure out which disk I need next. The roughly 8 hours and 10 minutes would be much more manageable on 6 cassettes in a Books on Tape-style case, plus there's no need to worry about navigating to where you left off on a cassette.

Presentation: Although chapters are announced, and there are multiple tracks per CD for navigation, there is no indication where one CD ends and another begins, meaning once the CD is done and it starts over again, I don't normally notice right away. This is the BBC's fault - I'm sure they just scooped their standard audiobook version straight up and slapped it unchanged into 7 CDs.

Took a gamble and started the audiobook "How to Be Perfect - The Correct Answer to Every Moral Question" by Michael Schur, the creator of The Good Place.

It's narrated by the author as well as the cast of the show (Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, etc) and is all about moral philosophy.

So far it seems great, though I'm mildly bugged by the author's repeated misuse of the word "habituation". It's a common mistake, but it isn't related to the forming of habits.
