I’m still not sure what’s worse.
That ‘AI’¹ needs unfathomable amounts of energy, single-handedly bringing back nuclear power, and perverse amounts of cooling liquid, draining the fresh water reserves of small towns²?
That ‘AI’ keeps being trained by data sources the creators of which never agreed on being used this way³?
That ‘AI’ needs to be stripped of terrible, toxic content by human beings living in the Global South who have to endure perversion, aggression, and any *ism you might imagine, and who are paid for this torture obscenely low wages⁴?
Or that ‘AI’ tends to make people stupider⁵ and learners lazier⁶?
In any case, avoid any form of ‘AI’ like the plague it is.

I know there are zillions of rubbish Facebook posts with garbage legalese in them purporting to stop FB using your data. However, I think this article is kosher and useful, if you use Facebook.
At the end it explains how to actually message Meta and tell them not to use your public data for AI training.

Recommendation: Switch all the suggestions off by going to
about:config,
confirm that you’ll be careful,
enter browser.urlbar.suggest
and set all the results to false.
Also, you might want to deactivate the “rich search” from the url bar.
Again, go to
about:config,
confirm,
enter rich
and set browser.urlbar.richSuggestions.featureGate and browser.urlbar.richSuggestions.tail to false, browser.urlbar.maxRichResults to 0 (zero).
