Although built for kids first and foremost, Backyard Baseball has enough stats, strategy, humor, and silliness to entertain adults as well, especially on increased difficulty levels. Two decades later, the inclusion of players and teams from the era serves to engage adults with nostalgia, as players like Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds play alongside teams like the Montreal Expos.
