The blues and whites with bees and flies bouncing off of them are brought by baby blue eyes, cream cups, five spots, lupines, and my pale douglas irises. #BackyardBlooms #berkeleyadventures

The plum and apricot have past and are covered with many tiny fuzzy bumps (fingers crossed 🤞🏼 for a good crop), but the apple 🍎 and meyer lemon 🍋 are just starting to open their blooms. #BackyardBlooms #berkeleyadventures

What deer? You may ask. Oh, just this one browsing on my roses like he at a diner. Also browses the buds off mock orange, Clarkia, Gilia, poppies, and fringe cups. So far. Loves the island mallow as well. #BackyardCritters #berkeleyadventures

There are a few blooms standing tall, in the Clarkia stalks, against the wall, at the base of the tree. These have escaped the noshing deer. Coral bells, fringe cups, Chinese houses, balloon penstemon. #BackyardBlooms #berkeleyadventures
