I think I'm going to change the way I look at #billionaires. Right now I've been approaching it from a place of disgust and anger. Listening to folks like #musk and #bezos talk though, they don't care about anger. When you listen to them it's quite clear they feel that the anger directed at them is in fact jealousy. I think they feed off of it.

I don't want them to operate from a place where they think I want to be like them. I think when they hear things like #BillionairesShouldNotExist, they likely think "Oh OK...but clearly *you* want to be a billionaire, you're just saying this because you want to take my money, yay #capitalism."

The acquisition of wealth at their level is a sickness, it's pure addiction. So I'll look at them through the one lens that might actually bother someone as thin-skinned as them - Pity.

"Oh you're a billionaire? That's...awful, I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope some day you get help for your condition." When you live in a world where you think everyone wants to be like you, it creates these super inflated egos. I want them to feel like they should be embarrassed to be a billionaire because they should be. The amount of greed and selfishness needed to become a billionaire is monolithic in scale.

I don't know that this would do anything to address any of our systemic issues, I just can't stand how smug rich people usually are. You look at someone like Musk and I feel like it would really get under that thin skin to know that we don't envy him at all and we actually think he's pitiful creature for being so greedy.

Actually, if #FatMasterson's #tariffs would result in #Temu *losing* money on every sale... and the alternative being raising prices and costing them more than doing business in the U.S., then *yes*, they ARE being stopped from continuing to do business in the U.S..

If they want those customers back (and they do), it makes more sense to frustrate American consumers into evoking change, then to leave them scratching their heads.
