I checked it myself and found this:

Utterly bizarre article in the Guardian yesterday.
Includes the point “…I love animals alive and vegetables on my plate.” but then goes on to advocate for dairy & eggs in recipes.
The anticipated flame-war ensued in the comments where vegetarians blame vegans for speaking out. 🙄 Ironic maybe.

The column was always plant-based titillation for a mostly middle-class & white demographic. However the editorial stance by the newspaper is baffling. Their food section seems divorced from reality & chases click-bait quite blatantly sometimes.
How are these “new” ingredients when there are at least 3 books with them in. 🤦♂️
