It finally happened. 4 y/o in a tantrum. Doesn’t want a bath. Yelling and hitting. I pulled my belt off and pulled the ends so it slapped together in a loud noise.

Then used that noise to play little music beats. Danced a little bit. Turned her energy positive. Showed her how to do it. We danced and made music and then got in the bath.

She’ll never have the reaction to the belt I did growing up.

I am spiritually and mentally drained by having to read in daily expanding detail about men who sexually abuse children and face no consequences. These men get no negative impact on their lives while the children they damaged bear all the violence. I am tired of hearing about it when nothing ever changes. Miss me with the new damning details, it won’t matter. They will get away with it…Again. They always do.
