I've been playing around with my 2019 CCC #card10 badge tonight. Finally printed a case for it.

I think I shorted something while dicking around and trying to fix one of the buttons that broke a while ago...

It makes me sad :(

After experiencing fun with the #cccamp23 #badge #flow3r, I tried the #Card10 Badge from 2019. Unfortunately one of the buttons is defect.

Can anyone tell me the exact type/manufactorer or has a link for me to order this part? Thanks!

@yrlf @miracula ich hatte so eine Idee schon mal für die #card10 von 2019. Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, ist die Produktion der Badges zu dem jeweiligen Preis nur möglich, weil da sehr, sehr viel gesponsert wird (zum Beispiel die Sensoren). Ich vermute bei einer neuen Produktion würde es sehr schnell so teuer werden, dass es sich nicht mehr lohnt. Daher vermute ich, dass es nicht so ohne weiteres möglich ist. Aber ich lasse mich gern eines besseren belehren.

TIL: the #card10 (#CCCamp19 badge) got a few firmware updates since then – in addition to attempts to use it for covid contact tracing(!), they also feature battery life improvements and a new watch app that turns on the screen based on movement (only show the time when you need it) \o/

Ok, 5am, finally starting to become productive… and I managed to just make that #Card10 badge firmware build again after all those new GCC errors and warnings. 😒 💤

@monoxyd Ich habe mir nochmal Gedanken gemacht: hast du vielleicht vom Camp noch irgendwo eine #Card10 rumliegen? Die könntest du für dieses Vorhaben auch nutzen. Dort kann man z.B. einen MH-Z19 CO2 Sensor über eine serielle Schnittstelle anschließen. Ins Grafana könnten die Daten via Bluetooth gesendet werden, da gab es zur GPN oder Easter Hack auch mal einen entsprechenden Talk für sowas.
