3 years ago today, Cleo crash-landed into my life delivered by the mysterious and all-knowing Cat Distribution System. Seeking refuge from the chaos of the July 4th fireworks. She didn’t ask for this. She just wanted quiet. Instead, she got me.

Since that night, she’s endured every bit of my nonsense my terrible singing, the war reenactments, the dramatic monologues, and all those absurd masked outfits she never asked to see me in. Through it all, she’s stayed fiercely loyal, judgy as ever, and somehow still by my side.

Here’s to the little warrior queen who turned my house into a home, my chaos into comfort, and my heart into hers. Happy 3 years, Cleo. You’re more than a cat, you’re my lil baby. 💛🐾
