This Brown Bear clay can be a pain. It bloats, it warps, and most glazes just don't show up well. So, I wasn't confident these would turn out, but I love them.
The spouted mug was a happy accident, the result of a broken drumstick smacking the rim 🤷♂️
I've formed a little routine lately. I throw pots on the weekend and then spend the rest of the week slowly finishing them between other projects.
This week, I threw a few 3x4"(ish) mugs to practice wheel trimming, a few mini mugs that were scraps from my failed attempts, and the cauldron for my wife.
Today's set of 12 mugs from my #100Mugs100Ways project: Mugs 37–48. Each one proudly showcases its distinct mug base.

Here is the next batch from my #100Mugs100Ways project! 🎉 Today’s lineup: mugs 25–36. Each piece is a story of creativity and love for ceramics. 💫
Which one is your favorite?
I made some handles for mugs today.
‘Hold on Tight, It’s a Wild Night!’ is a plate brimming with energy, whimsy, and just the right touch of chaos. This lively piece captures those unpredictable, exciting (and sometimes messy) moments that make life so fun. It’s perfect for anyone who loves art with personality and a playful twist.
I’ve also started a drawing with art markers inspired by the plate—it’s all about keeping that wild energy alive!
