All the previous post were pics of models that belonged to my old csm army and have now been repainted, but these are two models that I painted up especially to complete the army as a useable blackshield force. I had the arquitor lying around because I bought it for my Word Bearers once, but ended up with too much heavy support. The spartan I specifically to fill up the points for this army.

Here are the three medium large models that I used as various things for the old csm army. The middle one is a very random conversion that I did when I found an inquisitor karamazov throne piece and a scribe servitor in someones bitz bin. I put the servitor on the throne, added some ghoul hands and glowying rocks, chains and a tzeentch icon and used him as a tzeentch daemon prince for a while. No idea what I'm gonna use him as in heresy, but I'm gonna try and find something.

A hellbrute, converted floating throne guy and an older daemon prince.

Here's the terminator group of the force. Two terminator lords to choose from and a lot of combi plasma as well. Throughout the editions these have changed equipment a lot to the point that some of the shoulder pads and arms have been quite heavilly damaged. I don't mind too much and I feel it gives these vets a lot of character.

With the new Codex, the Emperor's Children canonically now like their sorcerers and have more of them.

Before the Codex, Lucius' pet sorcerer was hated and feared and a rarity, because Emperor's Children (before the Heresy) did not allow imperfections like mutations.

The Composer lived secluded in the upper regions of the Diadem and did his thing, guarded by Terminator Afilai.

Here's one of my earliest kitbash projects where I took regular space marine assault marines and added possessed arms. They used to be equipped with meltas, but since I need to use them in heresy now I had to convert all the meltagunners back to close combat weapons. The guy with the wings can be a consul perhaps as I used to use him as a chaos lord.

The older sculpts didn't fit anymore with the updated range so I've decided to repaint the army and use it as a Horus Heresy blackshield force.
