Wrapped up my latest custom today. It’s a single handed keeb designed exclusively for playing . Designed in TinkerCad and on my mk4. Then hand painted with Panduro Hobby Acrylics and dusted with weathering powders. Running on a Xiao .

Front of the keyboard. It’s a metallic colour made to look weathered and rusty. It contains for rows, six columns and a small thumb cluster.Inside of the keyboard. Uses flexible copper rods hand wired to the switches and to a very small microcontroller

Well, that was easier as expected. From idea to product in four days. Now I am able to control throttle, propeller, flaps, and the pitch trim of the virtual AT01 with my custom Raspberry Pi Pico-based USB joystick.

+1 on CircuitPython, USB HID dev

💪

Next: mount it in a nice cardboard case.

All - in case you didn't see, @adafruit released 8.1.0. This version fully supports the Fig Pi boards, as well as Mini SAM M4. Upgrading the firmware is as easy as booting into BOOT mode, and dragging the new firmware from circuitpython.org/board/bwshoc onto the drive that shows up. That's it!
