Papua New Guinea "Kindeng" by #CleverCoffee

Papua New Guinea is a relatively new player on the #coffee market. Commercial coffee production only took off there in 1950s, and although there are some larger plantations, most of the coffee comes from small farms - one or two hectares each - that farmers call their “gardens”.

The image shows a white, smooth, curved bowl filled with brown coffee beans. The bowl is placed on a black electronic scale, which has a digital display showing the numbers "0:00" and "16.5" in bright blue lights. The image shows a coffee package labeled "Kindeng." The background is mainly white with some red accents. The top features a simple illustration of a coffee cup. Below it, the text reads "Fruity and creamy with notes of cranberries, papaya, oolong tea, and acacia honey." The package details include information about the origins, mentioning "Omni-roast - Brew as you like," and specifying "Origin: Papua New Guinea," with the variety as "Arusha, Bourbon etc." The processing date is listed as "September 2024," and there's a note about the roast date being "July 26th 2025." A QR code is present for scanning. The bottom section states "CleverCoffee - Nordic Micro Roastery," and it shows the address "DK-8300 Odder" along with a net weight of "250 g." Additionally, there’s a note about the packaging being recyclable PE plastic. The image shows a coffee brewing device set on top of a glass, which is resting on digital scales. The brewing device has a transparent upper chamber filled with coffee grounds, and a glass partially filled with brewed coffee. The scales display a digital readout, showing the weight and time. In the background, there are various kitchen items like a red manual coffee grinder and a goose-neck kettle.

August #Kaffebox features #coffee from the Danish roaster #CleverCoffee. The one with an orange label originates from Papua New Guinea, not a very popular coffee origin, and I haven't had a chance to try coffee from there yet.

The #chocolate bar is the same as in June: I asked them to ship it again because the last time it melted during delivery (this time it arrived intact).

Lastly, there is the #Fellow Prismo - a pressure-actuated valve for the #AeroPress, want to give it a try.

The image features two coffee bags positioned upright, one labeled "Kindeng" in orange and the other "Los Cipreses" in teal. Below them, there is a square box containing the Fellow Prismo attachment for AeroPress coffee maker, which is black with a circular design. Next to the box, there is a chocolate bar wrapped in colorful packaging, labeled "PURE". The items are arranged on a dark surface.

New PCB, new #3Dprinted parts... More wires and cable management...

Bottom View:
Self designed bracket with integrated cable holders which is screwed in the electronic box so that it can be easily removed without damage.

Back view:
self designed electronic box with the #CleverCoffee PCB installed and wired for PID only. Also, visible in the background, a modified #Wago holder.

Top view open: wiring of the machine with the additional cables for the PID and display.

Top view: Top cover installed with the new display holder. I've modified it pretty much... added a bottom plate which is screwed on the top part (original) with an integrated magnet to hold it in place. The original was only the top frame and should be glued on the cover with double faced tape...

Okay, it's a while since the last post in the thread about the rebuild of a #Rancilio Miss #Silvia #Espresso machine.

If you haven't seen it yet it's over there

In the meanwhile I was busy collecting parts & building a prototype board for a existing project we'll want to use as a base for our modification: #CleverCoffee github.com/rancilio-pid/clever

Had it running for 6h and it holded the temperature perfectly (+- 0.5°C)

Also printed a basic case for the prototype to install it beside @ghostbear2k's machine.
