I knew of Admiral Grace Hopper, I had never heard her speak. Not only was she a commanding public speaker she had a good sense of humor. Apparently a presentation of hers from well over 40 years ago has only just been uploaded by none other than the NSA. (edit: don't be dismayed by the first bit of dry subject, keep with it or skip to minute 18 where it livens up significantly)

My wife is at the gym. As it's only an hour long class, wait to take her back home. While I wait, I read. Today, continuing Chapter 4 of "Where Wizards Stay Up Late: the origins of the internet" by Katie Hafner. A fascinating book.
