#FlameModular #MaeanderM #analog #filterbank #sequencer sounded amazing in demos, way better than it should have according its size and #controls. I'm not a big fan of their #robotic sequencer (they call a looper for some weird reason) that has been quantised to death, but in this case it matters little, because it's not a precise movement that counts. It looks more like a #vibes machine that with a little effort would almost mangle a simple input voice to something with depth and character.

There is a Google Summer of Code 2025 proposal to update the User Interface and add new features like Parental Controls to the VLC iOS app. This is to catch up with the Android version of VLC.

This will enable iOS users to restrict access to the app settings and to sensitive actions, such as deleting media files or modifying playlists, unless the user successfully authenticates via a PIN code or biometrics.

I think it's interesting how all rhythm games I've played so far need very little controls: Beat Saber needs no buttons at all. Beat Slayer needs the most with a Joystick and 4 Buttons. Unbeatable needs one for up and one for down, Crypt of the Necrodancer and Audiosurf only need movement, at least in basic mode. One could argue over Dance Dance Revolution. I'd say when played with an actual mat that's more like a single D-pad than 5/9 buttons.
