On a commencé à faire mumuse avec au boulot, et plus on avance, plus on voit à quel point c'est génial.

Pour ceux qui galèrent à déployer du SQL Server en prod, arrêtez de le faire à la main, et utilisez les. Une ligne de commande, et paf, c'est déployé.
Les manips casse pieds à faire à la main dans SQL Manager ? C'est de l'histoire ancienne ça! Une commande et paf, c'est réglé.

#DBATools Does anybody know if you can use applicationintent=readonly with Copy-DbaDbTableData? It looks like you'd have to use invoke-dbaquery and write it, but it's multi-gb of data so I'd rather not buffer it. Doesn't look like the sqlinstance param can use connection strings but I'm not positive #SQLServer

Recently installed and configured multiple dev, test, and prod #sqlserver environments, including SQL 2016, 2019, and 2022 boxes, all using almost nothing but #dbatools scripting. Seems like there's almost nothing that #powershell module can't do.

@cl and the rest of the @dbatools team are legends.

One day I will remember that if you're doing veeam backups then this doesn't work:

get-dbaDbBackupHistory -sqlinstance $SqlInstance -lastlog -DeviceType 'Virtual Device'

....because, under the covers, Veeam actually does a local disk backup of the transaction logs, so you have to do

-DeviceType 'Disk'

Anyway, today was not that day
