#Denton #NoKings. My vague estimate was 3,000. South side and west side of square pretty packed. Crammed on sidewalk, took long time to circle square. No traffic shut down like I halfway expected. Police and sheriff presence, but not overwhelming. Lots of US and some Mexican flags. No counter-protesters. Some honking around the square. Very heavy traffic, sometimes, but not frequently backed up. Lots of what appeared to be pro-marcher honking. VERY hot. 🥵 Friend had sign they let me use.

NT Daily is reporting that Mayor Hudspeth has denied a proclamation to officially declare June Pride month in the city of Denton. This declaration has basically been a rubber stamp in previous years.

There will be a rally at 6pm on Tuesday (while the city council meeting is taking place) in front of City Hall on East McKinney where the proclamation will be made by those gathered.
