Fir some reason, #Spotify keeps serving me ads for the New York Department of Corrections. And the commercials are really annoying, clearly aiming at people that don't math or listen well. Specifically, if you have to work for five years to get an advertised "base salary", then the advertised $100K+ isn't actually the base salary.
Just seems odd for a law-related agency to engage in what amounts to #FalseAdvertising.

I think there needs to be a large-scale campaign of false advertising complaints against platforms that call a show a "podcast", but only allow you to hear it on their platform.

One day when I have a couple of spare spoons I want to put in a report about false advertising on the two online games I play.
Both have multiple fake characters claiming 'I am the boss of ...'
Lately they also have real actors but use AI voices (all somewhat flat). Even more annoying than claiming they are all the boss.
Either Temu and a well known game change bosses every couple of weeks or they are lying.
