The #intelligence breach was bad enough, current & former #FighterPilots said. But #Defense Secy #PeteHegseth’s refusal to acknowledge that he should not have disclosed sensitive info about when American fighter pilots would attack sites in #Yemen, they said, was even worse.

On #AirBases, in #AircraftCarrier “ready rooms” & in communities near #military bases this week, there was consternation.

The image is a black and white photograph showing an individual, presumably Colonel Benjamin O. Davis, standing next to what appears to be an airplane from World War II era. The person is wearing flight gear including goggles on the head, earphones with microphone attached around his neck, pilot's jacket over casual clothing, and a protective apron labeled "NSP-10-G-B" along with some other illegible text.

He has dark hair under the helmet that’s not covered by it. His gaze is directed upwards towards something outside of frame which seems to capture him in mid thought or anticipation. The aircraft behind him bears visible markings and numbers, but they are partially obscured; however "738012" can be discerned.

The photograph appears old with speckles indicative of age on the film negative. It's taken outdoors during daylight as indicated by the clear sky above which is devoid of any clouds or birds, suggesting a dry atmosphere typical for flying conditions.

The image is a black and white photograph depicting several African American men in military uniforms, specifically those of the 332nd Fighter Group. They are seated at what appears to be a briefing room table or bench within an indoor setting that resembles a building with exposed brickwork on its walls.

Most individuals wear bomber jackets typical for pilots during World War II; many have patches and insignias indicative of their affiliation with this specific group, such as the American flag patch. Some men are wearing hats bearing distinctive emblems which might signify rank or unit membership within the air force. The expressions range from focused to contemplative.

In addition to these seated figures, others stand in the background, suggesting a larger gathering beyond just those around the table. One can see items like notebooks on the tables and personal belongings among the group members.

The photograph carries historical significance as it likely documents one of many such briefings for fighter pilots during World War II era operations involving African American servicemen, known collectively as the Tuskegee Airmen due to their training in Tuskegee.

The image depicts a moment from World War II, featuring two individuals in military attire. One person is standing upright and appears to be an aircrew member of the Tuskegee Airmen, identifiable by his uniform style and insignia that signifies American service during this period. He's equipped with aviator goggles atop his head and wears protective ear muffs. His jacket has multiple pockets filled with equipment, including what seems like a hand-held radio device.

The second individual is kneeling beside him on the ground, attending to an external seventy-five gallon drop tank attached beneath one of the wings of a military aircraft known as P-51/D Mustang named "Creamer's Dream." The crew member wears a protective leather jacket and gloves. His posture indicates active involvement in ensuring or inspecting equipment.

The plane has prominent insignias; 'CREAMER'S DREAM' is painted on its side, along with additional text that might be part of the unit identification markings. This scene likely takes place at Ramitelli Airfield in Italy during March 1945, as suggested by the caption and historical context.

The photograph appears aged, consistent with WWII-era black-and-white photography, possibly from nitrate film which was commonly used for such purposes but known to be highly flammable and prone to decay over time. The focus is on these two individuals and their immediate activity, capturing a snapshot of wartime avi [...]

In this black and white photograph, we see a man standing next to an aircraft. The pilot is wearing full flight gear including a helmet with goggles attached on top of his head, earphones connected by wires going down the sides of his face into his ears, gloves which are visible on both hands gripping the wing of the plane in front him and strapped around his arms for added protection during flights; he also has boots on that seem to be high-topped or at least knee-length reaching above where most men's pants usually end. His uniform is what might have been worn by many service personnel from World War II, leather flying jackets with pockets all over which could hold numerous items needed in the cockpit such as maps, charts and other tools for navigation along with personal belongings like cigarettes.

On his jacket there are patches indicating rank or affiliation but we cannot make out exactly what they mean due to low resolution. He has a tool belt strapped around him probably containing various small tools essential during flight operations; possibly wrenches, screwdrivers etc., given the nature of such equipment being necessary in aviation maintenance and repair tasks.

The aircraft he is standing beside appears large with rounded front cockpit windows indicative of an older model plane - perhaps from World War II era. On its side we can see text which reads 'Creamer's Dream' suggesting it might be a name or nickname [...]

The image is a black and white photograph showing three men in what appears to be military attire, possibly pilots. They are gathered around an open briefcase or box with various objects inside that could potentially be ammunition belts. The man on the left wears heavy winter gear including a fur-lined coat and carries additional rounds of ammunition strapped across his chest. He is wearing goggles and has a cap pulled down over his eyes.
The middle man, also in cold weather attire, seems to be closely examining something within the box while interacting with one of the other men. The third man on the right is seated and appears more focused on the contents inside the case as well, holding what looks like an oxygen mask connected by a hose which suggests he may have been flying or preparing for flight.
All three individuals are wearing caps that indicate their affiliation to military units. Behind them, there's a vast expanse of clear sky with no visible landmarks, hinting at this scene being outdoors in open space possibly near the runway during daytime.

They are gathered around a table in what appears to be an officers' club during evening hours. The primary focus is on four seated men who seem engrossed in playing cards. One man sits prominently at the forefront with his hands poised over the deck as if he's about to play or has just played.

Behind him, three more men are observing closely; one of them appears particularly interested, possibly contemplating a move for himself. All individuals exhibit serious expressions and concentrated demeanors suggesting they're deeply engaged in their card game.
In addition to those seated around the table, there is another man standing behind the group on the right side with an attentive stance as he watches the proceedings at the table.

The men are dressed casually yet uniformly; most wear a mix of jackets or blazers over long-sleeved shirts paired with ties. Their attire suggests they're in military uniform style but not necessarily combat-ready gear, indicating that this might be a social gathering rather than a formal operational setting.
In summary, the photograph encapsulates an intimate moment among members of the Tuskegee Airmen as they partake in leisurely activities such as playing cards within their community space.

The image depicts a group of four individuals in military uniforms, likely soldiers or pilots during World War II. They are standing on what appears to be muddy ground and walking away from an oversized canvas tent-like structure with a prominent chimney pipe sticking out the top.

Each person is dressed similarly: wearing heavy coats, gloves, boots, and carrying equipment such as helmets and what seems like parachutes or other gear strapped around their bodies. The uniforms are indicative of military attire during that era, possibly for cold-weather operations given the thick clothing material visible in some sections.

The men exhibit focused expressions on their faces while looking ahead, suggesting a sense of purpose or determination. Their poses indicate movement as they stride forward together out of frame towards another destination outside this captured moment.

In summary, the image captures Tuskegee Airmen exiting what appears to be a parachute room located in Ramitelli, Italy during March 1945. The photograph is black and white with visible wear around its edges indicating age or handling over time.
