Three easy steps to total despair:
1. Collect browser tabs for weeks, while working on some longer project; have them automatically recovered whenever you close and relaunch the browser.
2. Open a new browser window to have some random page on another screen or something.
3. Accidentally close the window with the bunch of tabs first, and the one with a single random tab second. Now browser will recover just that one inconsequential tab the next time it runs.

flying north from Ōtautahi yesterday afternoon and this had all the #FluidMechanics - waves, sunglint on braided rivers, clouds, and best of all lift keeping us in the air. Unfortunately the latter was a little conditional as we had some engineering issues that sent us back to CHC and so my dreams of a nice friday afternoon cuppa at home evolved into two more flights to get home about 1030pm and not in the mood for a cuppa. #FirstWorldProblems

Noisy at the casa today as I work, lawn folk are here with a riding mower, push mower, and weed eating all going at once, plus local helicopter company is apparently doing test flights over the neighborhood ("test" flights over populated areas, sounds safe to me, right?) and they've all converged. A bit hard to focus on tasks at hand, taking a #tea break. Hopefully only last 5-10 minutes.

2 new tyres fitted. 90 quid. If I'd gone with the Avon ZV7's, as I usually do, it would have been double that. Still, 90 quid is cheaper than the fine, penalty points, and increased insurance for having worn tyres (and these WERE worn down to the limit markers!). #FirstWorldProblems #CarTroubles

I guess it's time to get downloading and installing/upgrading some of my favourite games on the laptop.
I tend to rotate through several games that I like to play, playing them intensely for a few months then moving on to the next one. I was playing Sims 2 on my desktop, and I hadn't finished scratching that itch. But I don't know that I want to download all the mods / CC that I was using, if it's only going to be a few days. And if my desktop does need a new hard drive, I'll need to do it all again once my desktop is fixed. #FirstWorldProblems
It looks like the hard drive on my desktop PC has died. My computer was built by a mate of one of my kids, and he's coming over on Saturday to take a look at it. In the meantime I'm using my laptop. #FirstWorldProblems

Not to sound all #FirstWorldProblems, but every time I travel on trains in the UK, I am astonished both at the terrible quality of onboard wifi and at the poor phone-network coverage.
This is allegedly a developed nation.

@mmdolbow I use both at equal parts. When I must go somewhere I know the arrival time I need, when I come back (from a meeting e.g.) I know the departure time.
And yes, this is #FirstWorldProblems department.
In the #FirstWorldProblems department, when I use the Google Maps app on my phone, and choose the option for "set a departure or arrival time", shouldn't the default option be arrival time? I always forget that it defaults to *departure* time, and then I have to do it twice.
I understand that *sometimes* people want to know how long it'll take when they leave at time X, but isn't it WAY more common to have a desired *arrival* time?
I don't know if it's sheer speed or something about the rhythm of my pace yesterday, or something else, but I think I have a bruise from keeping my phone in my right pocket while running yesterday.
I usually keep it in my left pocket and have never developed a bruise from it shifting around before. But, I have a hole in the pocket of these shorts and I didn't want the phone motion to make it worse.
