I don't want to hate on #FirstDates because some of the dating stories are genuinely lovely, but the incessant need to try to one-up the shock levels each series is wearing thin. A first date between two women where one announces she's married and her husband's at the bar waiting to join in is just really putting the other woman in a horrible spot unless it's all been arranged before. And if it has then it's shock for shock's sake.
