This case continues to be exceptionally weird;
#ABCNews and a local news station in Utah show different footage of the suspect in the murder case at his preliminary hearing, with him nodding at different times to different statements - notably, on ABC, he nods to the putative motive that is read by the prosecutor, while cues on the local news footage synchronize more logically (papers being shuffled, etc.) and do not show that nod. In other words, it appears on initial viewing that ABC News edited the footage to make the suspect appear more guilty.
There's also a discussion on this video about the "text messages" - and given the fact that I put quotes around that phrase, it should give you a good indication of what was said about it. While my own prior analysis wasn't exactly in line with the examiner's here, there were plenty of times when we saw the same things, causing us to come to similar conclusions that this case as presented doesn't add up.
There are more
#RedFlags to this than a May Day parade.
