After three and a half years of heavy use, my favorite fly line has a lot of wear and cracks🥲
But, I found a great deal on eBay for exactly the same line. It is now a previous model, but still one of the best. I got it for less than half the original price 🤩

I haven’t seen trout for a while 🥲

I miss them. Today, the temperature went up to 35C (95F), still not trout friendly 🥵

But I bought a new fly rod, fly line, and even waders because the pair I am currently using is leaking 😉
I am ready for fall trout fishing 😊

It's been a while since I last purchased a fly line. Great to see that they are now using compostable materials like egg cartons instead of plastic. I wonder if this reduces the cost 🤔

It’s a Rio Gold, my favorite fly line 🥲
I have four 4 wt lines. Another favorite (SA Mastery Trout) is very old and now for practice casting.
The third one (SA MPX) also has many cracks. The fourth one (Airflo Elite), which is not my favorite, is still intact. I think it’s time to make the fourth one my favorite, and the cracked line will be my backups 🤔
