I don't know why I bother to interact with the creature taming system in #FO76. Every time I do it and find something neat, it mysteriously disappears or winds up dead in circumstances where it absolutely shouldn't be.

This time I had a 3-star legendary level 60 mirelurk king wandering around my camp for the last several days. I loaded in today… and there was its corpse, complete with legendary item.

god dammit 🙃

I've now got #FO76 running well enough on my M2 MacBook Air that I can run dailies and even participate in Head Hunts, with one small exception:

If an enemy explodes, and I've dealt damage to it, the game locks up completely. 🤔

Fallout 76 is dropping glowing fasnacht masks during the top of the hour alien invasion event. You loot the mask off the dead scene boss so no ez afk farming. I finally got a glowing jackalope mask (swoon). Ends noon est Sunday.

Was about to try soloing the first section of the new Gleaming Depths raid in #FO76 when I noticed that the casual team I'd randomly joined were all raiding together. So I tagged along and wouldn't you know it, the raid designed for four high level players is way easier when you're running it as part of a group of four high level players. 😂

We wound up running the whole thing, and I was one of two players to survive the last section, so I guess I was more prepared than I thought.

I'm a simple man. You give me a purchasable cat in a video game, I buy the cat.

so #fallout76 / #fo76 has put out a camp showcase feature, finally. as per bethany esda usual it's done in an extremely clumsy way, but

i had been seeing showcased camp builds around with largely under ten votes. most ended up with significantly less, because people were just showcasing whatever the fuck low-effort builds of "here's some workbenches i guess fuck you give me a like".

i was expecting a little bit of attention because, eh, i'll put up my nice store build, it has a lot of resources to use (and while people can't use the vendors of the ghost-mode-showcase-version, they can get stuff from the resource generators, get buffs, etc and i like being helpful).
