Ich habe mein @fairphone III mit @murena e seit 2021 und es läuft seit damals reibungslos. Inzwischen ist die ganze Familie damit ausgestattet #FP3 oder #FP4 plus #Murena
Sowohl die Hardware als auch die Software machen keine Probleme. Updates kommen regelmäßig und automatisch.
Das Thema Android ist natürlich problematisch, aber für den Moment ist es trotzdem um Längen besser als bei Apple oder vollwertigem Google zu bleiben. Allein die KI sind der Horror.
@waldschnecke I'm using a #Faiphone since 2019. First #FP3, now #FP5. In general they are solid phones, but I think the camera is probably mid class (I don't know the camera of the #FP6).

Opening my level app - 'Bublble' on my #e_os #fairphone #FP3 today I got a warning that soon, it would not be possible to run apps by non-google-registred developers on a google certified system.
So, to have safe apps, a not-google-certified system is soon required.
Bubble is open source, installed from F-droid, and it works very well, does nothing else than it sould.

Ik had nog een FP3 liggen die ik niet meer gebruikte. En in het kader van het degoogelen dacht ik kom, laten we daar eens /e/OS op zetten. Daar is een installer voor, hoe moeilijk kan het zijn, nietwaar? 🫠
Eergisteren en vandaag (gisteren kon ik even de fut niet opbrengen) een aantal uurtjes 'genoeglijk' lopen prutsen, wat zich nog het beste als volg laat samenvatten:
