Done for some peeps who worked on that #SnowPiercer show.
All I'll say is that they told me that they both loved it & hated it. Having done some work on film sets, I couldn't imagine doing something like that day-in-day-out for more than a year, let alone several.

Design never ended up being used, but I did do a version as a #tattoo. So that's pretty neato.

#moth & #bat hootenanny was inspired by seeing Franz Stuck's "The Sin" at some gallery in Paris a while back. His snake's details in the shadows were stupid rad.

I put so much work into the texture of the wings only to damn near cover it all up in the shadows. But the contrasting bright colored moth/dinner pops against it. #Liquidacrylic for the moth & #watercolor for everything else ...no white. That's just paper.

Hanging in a cool frame at work. (i often pick frames first & then paint to fit) A long time client saw it the day after it went up and immediately called it.
So gave her a version that maybe coulda used a little darker shading.
Regardless, I'm alright with it. It's one of my only #watercolor #paintings that I still own...
