A medium sized shrine made from wood that's turned dark from being weathered. Two low shrubs coiffeured into spheres flank it. It's surrounded by trees.

There is some sort of work going on at the stage, which is wider than the shrine and looks to be just as old. There are various items on the stage and in one place in front of it. I found it odd because normally these things are cleaned up nicely when not in use - and that's most of the time.

Picture taken from about the five o'clock position behind the shrine. The picture contains the rear shrine only accessible to the priests and the slightly bigger public facing one. Their rear slanted roofs are sunlit, most of the other things are in the shade. The shrine is surrounded by a few trees. I've layered the original image to add some color to the image and added a brownish frame.

A path leading up to a shrine that's barely discernable at the center of the image. On the way there, there are three big torii gates. A big wooden red one at the front, immediately followed by a stone one. A few steps further there is another stone gate. A few trees left and right as well.

Picture taken from about 30m or 90ft away from from the shrine. There is a paved path leading away from the shrine. Somebody has been sweeping and there are mounts of leaves and debris in regular distances.

One of the side shrines at this big complex is preceded by a row of red torii gates placed no more than a foot or 30cm apart. This shot shows 30 of them from the side flanked by flags with the name of the bigger shrine complex on it in Japanese. There is gravel in the front and there are trees in the back.
