<p>音声認識など人工知能（AI）技術に強みを持つ中国のテック大手「アイフライテック（科大訊飛=iFLYTEK）が、AI機能を搭載した電子ペーパーデバイス「AINOTE 2」を日本市場に投入した。</p>
<p>クラウドファンディングサイト「マクアケ」で9月29日に先行販売を開始すると、わずか8日間で支援総額が1億円を超えた。その後も勢いは衰えず、プロジェクト期間を30日以上を残して2億円に到達した。前世代モデル「AINOTE Air 2」が記録した約1億2900万円を大きく上回り、「AI音声認識×手書きデバイス」市場の拡大を印象づけている。</p>

<p>中国ではAI音声分野のトップ企業として知られるアイフライテックだが、日本での知名度はまだ低い。今回の製品は、手書き入力と音声文字起こしの技術を組み合わせた電子ペーパー端末として日本で類似商品が少なく、大きな話題となっている。日本法人の亀田佳生営業部長はマクアケの発表会で「画面にペンで書きやすくなり、薄さや軽さも追求した」と強調した。キーボード付きのカバーも販売予定だという。</p>

<p>AINOTE 2の人気の高まりを受け、蔦屋家電（東京・二子玉川）およびヨドバシカメラ（東京・秋葉原／大阪・梅田）で体験展示がスタートした。展示はそれぞれ11月27日と11月12日まで実施予定で、来場者が実機に触れて操作感を試せるようになっている。蔦屋家電には、すぐ性能を確認する客が訪れているという。</p>

La startup #DeepSeek superó a su rival estadounidense #OpenAI a la hora de fabricar la aplicación gratuita mejor valorada de la App Store, no solo en el gigante asiático, sino también en el país norteamericano.

Su nueva versión R1 ocasionó desplomes en las bolsas de valores de Japón y EE.UU.: Nikkei cayó un 1% y Nasqad 100, un 3%, generando pérdidas de casi un billón de dólares.

DeepSeek hundió el precio de las acciones de los mayores gigantes tecnológicos: las de Nvidia (fabricante de chips de IA) cayeron un 17%, las de #Microsoft (patrocinador de ChatGPT), un 3,8%, las de #Alphabet (matriz de Google), un 1%, y las de Meta (Facebook e Instagram), un 0,8%.

Lo contrario ocurrió con las compañías tecnológicas vinculadas a DeepSeek: el valor de las acciones de #Iflytek Co. subieron un 1,73% y las de Merit Interactive Co. se dispararon un 20%.

La razón del éxito de la IA china se debería a que es capaz de hacer casi lo mismo que su contraparte estadounidense con menos tiempo y dinero: mientras OpenAI tardó 10 años, requirió de 3.500 trabajadores y gastó $ 6.600 millones para #ChatGPT, DeepSeek llevó menos de dos años, necesitó de 200 empleados y gastó menos de $ 10 millones.

Todo esto se logró a pesar de las sanciones de la Casa Blanca contra el sector chino de los microchips.

DeepSeek probó un abordaje poco convencional, como es recurrir al código abierto, es decir, permitir que la comunidad de desarrolladores pueda inspeccionar y mejorar el software.

Analistas estadounidenses advierten que muchos inversores podrían recurrir a las infravaloradas IAs chinas y apartarse de las estadounidenses viendo este éxito.

Probablemente por esta razón, DeepSeek sufrió una oleada de ciberataques justo después de que su app superara a ChatGPT, por lo que tuvo que limitar temporalmente las inscripciones, un servicio que ya ha restablecido.
