Saturday June 14, 2025: Protesters in Denver took to the streets protesting President Donald Trump and ICE deportation raids. Protests remained mostly peaceful until Denver PD declared the protest an unlawful assembly, alleging protesters were throwing rocks and other objects. On the ground protestors stood toe to toe with riot officers before they deployed tear gas and pepper balls. This action escalated the protest into chaos and aggression towards law enforcement.

"Reports indicate that around 50 detainees at Delaney Hall, Trump’s newly opened ICE detention center in Newark, New Jersey, staged an uprising against inhumane conditions on Thursday, June 13. According to reports by New Jersey law enforcement, the Department of Homeland Security, and detainees’ lawyers, four men escaped the facility amid the unrest."

"There had reportedly been discontent at the ICE detention facility for days due to inhumane conditions, including reports of insufficient food, scalding hot undrinkable tap water, and lack of staff. 'We had some members of our community come out and tell us that their family members were not being given food,' said immigrant rights organizer Ana Paola Pazmiño, the executive director of Resistencia en Accion NJ. According to a post on X by the NJ Alliance for Immigrant Justice (NJAIJ), detainees endured 20 hours without food. Demonstrators gathered outside the facility later on Thursday in solidarity with the detainees."

Neighbors came out of their homes, concerned they were witnessing another ICE raid. FBI agents forcibly entered Orellana’s home, overturned all of his belongings, seized his electronic property, and then escorted Orellana handcuffed into one of their vehicles."

Sounds like they want to bring back the House Un-"American" Activities Committee.

On June 11, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security notified at least three organizations that have opposed these brutal attacks on the migrant communities, threatening criminal charges for “providing logistical support and financial resources to individuals engaged in this disruptive conduct.”

The same day, the House Committee on Homeland Security sent letters to more than 200 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that offer services to migrants, threatening them with criminal charges for providing assistance — including transportation, food, translation and shelter — to undocumented workers.

These so-called “investigations” are nothing but a cover for the government’s attempts to silence those who are rising up to defend migrant workers, who are now being viciously attacked by ICE and Homeland Security agents, so that their brutality can continue without opposition.
