Another photo from our walk this morning. Although it's supposed to be rare, we frequently see Hair Ice during the autumn or winter. I guess we consistently have the correct conditions.
In 2015, it was found that it was produced on trees with the fungus "exidiopsis effusa".
Although we see it every year, I hadn't come across such a large spread before.
