Someone of us came up with the idea of using black nailpolish to secure the ends from unraveling, and look, isn't it a great way to finish the ends! this is a way of finishing that opens so many possibilities to use #goldwork threads in other ways without plunging them!

about yesterday... I asked some of the ladies to sew down the beautiful #gimp tressée 36 of @auverasoie_officiel ... to finish the ends I wanted the braid unbraided and those fringes losely sew down, I loved the effect but didn't want to plunge the ends in the fabric. Today we had a very nice meeting for this project, everybody choose wat's interesting them, together we create a lot of elements that will be added to our #roomdivider.
for me, this is really #intangible_cultural_heritage , coming together, sharing time, passion and knowledge...
