This batch of Pilsner Urquell “clone” as a Kellerbier. Lagered about one week after it also sat in secondary for about two weeks mit Speise to naturally carbonate.

I always brew 25L batches so that I can have the excess of a 19L corny keg in a small corny keg to have as a Kellerbier. Fun to taste how it changes - and also makes the waiting for lagering a bit easier.

Meet the Kellerbier of my latest Rothaus. Still a few more days before it goes into the lager fridge so this is still really young and yeasty. No off flavors so I expect it to turn out great after 42 days or so of lagering.

Got thirsty while brewing the Steam after the Kölsch is in the fermenter.

Just transferred my latest 10°P Czech Pale Lager to a short dip tube keg for natural carbonation and had a bit of excess. Not enough to fill a small corny keg this time. So I’m having a liter of Kellerbier. Lately I’m enjoying drinking my excess beer still green as Kellerbier and then enjoy the finished product after 42/60/90 days of lagering. You get a good sense of how the beer turned out but lots of fun, funky esters, some rawness from hops, etc make it interesting.

Second one from #Weiherer -- a Keller-#Märzen. Expectations are high.

A blend of a dizzy ale (commonly known as #Kellerbier or #Zwickel) and a traditional strong malty one.

Two worlds that do not fit together IMHO.

@schattendasein #Kalea deutsches #Craftbeer #Adventskalender 4/24: #Störtebeker #Kellerbier 1402. Riecht nach #Pils, ist auch nach Pilsner Art kalt gebraut, schmeckt erfrischend und gerade genug #Hopfen drin. Schon sehr okay.

Das Zirndorfer Landbier fand ich schon immer recht angenehm, Jetzt hat der örtliche Getränkemarkt nun auch die trübe #Kellerbier-Variante. Auch sehr mild und leicht malzig. Die Hefe schmecke ich allerdings nicht heraus
