Agreed, with the disclaimer that their FOSS drivers aren't usually very good when first released, or at least that's what I hear.
Then again, when I got my 12th-generation Intel machine in late 2022, it was super unstable (even with the latest kernel on a rolling-release distro) for the first few months. Lots of random pauses and accompanying graphical hiccups.
The last time I tried playing the latest #KerbalSpaceProgram on it about 6 months to a year ago, it would crash outright.
Horrid experience. From now on, I either buy hardware from linux vendors, or buy used.

Naja, reicht dann auch um ohne Aero-Brake in einen Orbit um Duna einzuschwenken. Mal schauen was ich mit der restlichen Delta-V so anstelle.

I've got Solus on my desktop at home and I'm thinking of trying #FreeBSD or something FreeBSD-based on it instead. I might have to see if #KerbalSpaceProgram will run in the Linux compatibility mode first, because it would be a bit of a bummer to lose that.

OK for Reasons(tm) I ended up re-reading a bunch of Wikipedia articles on orbital mechanics and I just want to play #KerbalSpaceProgram now.
I just realized that the Parallax Continued mod for #KerbalSpaceProgram has been officially released.
This means the previously paid-only mod is now available for free.
Time to dig up #KSP again, and enjoy the game with much improved visuals!
