The catta (Lemur catta) is a primate species from the group of lemurs (Lemuriformes). It inhabits dry regions in southwestern Madagascar. Shown here with a kitten.

Der Katta (Lemur catta) ist eine Primatenart aus der Gruppe der Lemuren (Lemuriformes). Er bewohnt trockene Regionen im südwestlichen Madagaskar. Hier zu sehen mit einem Jungtier.

Ich hatte überlegt, dieses Bild aus Spaß zum gestrigen #Caturday zu posten. Es zeigt nämlich einen Katta (Lemur catta) – pun absolutely intended. Hab mich dann doch dagegen entschieden. Heute zum #SilentSunday passt das Bild aber auch irgendwie, so, wie der Lemur da in aller Seelenruhe auf seinem Baumstamm über dem Teich sitzt, als ob er über das Leben, das Universum und den ganzen Rest sinniert. Einen anderen Lemur hatte er zwischenzeitlich an sich vorbeiklettern lassen, ohne dass er sich einen Zentimeter bewegt hat.
