Another page down in my #makingcomics process. It looks good, in many ways the best #illustration I have done thus far. It's very Cleary a #comicbook page, and cannot be mistaken for anything else.

Only I will see the glaring errors that I only just realized i made at the very end, but no redrawing

Curiosity Killed the Cockatoo Cover / Splash Art - Hale George Craterfell
The titular cockatoo woman from CKTC will soon have her own cover.

Judging by how the inks have turned out there is a good chance that she will be the favourite piece out of all my art when she's done. 

-Inked in CSP. 
-Texture and watermarks applied in Affinity Photo.
-Logo made in Affinity Designer.

-Inking brushes are The Rusty Nib and Monomania from TGTS,
-Tone Brushes are Beat Tones from TGTS,
-Paper texture is from Infinite Pulp Vol2 by TGTS,
-Pose refs used were a mix of Catwoman / Poledance ones from Mels Mneyan (I think - the pencils were from a while ago).

Spilled my india ink today, damn that stuff is powerful – what a heavily pigmented mess, all over myself, the table, the parquet floor.

Not grumbling too loudly, though, ‘cause against all odds, the current page has been spared.

Plus it won’t happen again for quite some time now, there’s a rather regular Inkspill Interval of about every five years – maybe I’ve gone digital by then?
