Took an impromptu trip down to Geelong's coastline

Heute Abend einen Plattenladen entdeckt, gute Musik gehört und zu zweit essen gegangen. Rocksteady Records sind im ersten Stock des Mitchell Houses zu Hause. Das Mitchell Houses mit seiner weissen Fassade aus dem Jahre 1937 ist ein Schmuckstück in der Innenstadt von #Melbourne . Im Plattenladen spielten Ai Yamamoto und Dan West, Elektronik und etwas Gitarre, zumeist ruhigeres. Hier geht es zu ihrem neuen Album Microdoses.

Definitely the worst part about the new Arden St bike lanes. They kept the left turn slip lane and are making cyclists cross in this awkward way.

This will probably undermine the rest of the project because this crossing will be scary enough to put people off riding here.

It's disappointing that the department of transport and planning refused to fix this intersection and won't build any protected bicycle intersections.

Interesting idea - daytime music gigs, sans alcohol.

'On Air, founded by Deyon Murphy, 33, and Francesca Poci, 26, is a permanent cafe where you can grab a morning latte alongside live DJ sets and radio shows.

'“We thought, what could be the most Melbourne idea we could do? And we thought coffee and DJs,” says Murphy, who previously worked in the music industry.
