Wherever you are in the world, make sure you are safe.
"he had to bury his wife after he took her to a Texas hospital for a miscarriage when she was 11 weeks pregnant."
Not only did he loose his wife, now "he's doing the best he can as a single dad of two boys."
We must stand up to this suppression and fight for our healthcare rights (reproductive, women, LGBTQIA+)❤️

The rights to equal quality research benefiting anyone menstruating is being curtailed.
"The grant was actually intended for research on the potential health risks posed by synthetic feminine hygiene products and for developing alternatives using natural fibers and fabrics"

From the news cycle:
"Influencer’s ‘menstruation day’ toilet set-up slammed"
I like the initiative 🙂
I also spend a lot of time on the bathroom when I have my period and having a "cozy" space makes all the difference sometimes. ❤️

If you wouldn’t share your cycle details with a random stranger on the street, why give them to an app that buries its data #policy in 10 pages of legalese?
Period tracking should #empower you, not turn your body into a dataset for sale. Read the fine print. 🤓

Your reproductive data shouldn’t be a liability.
In a world where cycle tracking can be weaponized against you, a secure period tracker isn’t just a luxury - it’s a necessity.
No surveillance, no selling your health data to the highest bidder. Just safe, private, and reliable tracking.
This is the future we are building for you. ❤️

Menstruation is not a business opportunity, but Big Tech disagrees.
Many period apps collect way more data than needed, some even selling it to advertisers - or worse.
Before tracking your cycle, ask: Who owns MY data? Who can see MY data? What can they do with MY data?
If the answer isn’t clear, they don’t deserve your trust.

Is your period late? Is it early? How do you know? Do you go on a hunch or a feeling? Or do you record it somewhere?
Please make sure it is a safe record. Track it in an app that keeps your data private and doesn't sell it to anyone without your knowledge.
Check the app's security section.
Let us know in the replies if you want to know how.

@macduck why?
"#Inclusivity starts with language. A common term used in academia to account for adolescent girls, women, transgender men, non-binary and agender people, and other gender minorities who menstruate is ‘#Menstruators.’
Therefore, we suggest using the term women, adolescent girls and people who menstruate."

From our #BIPOC #sisterhood #nonprofit org, #SNIWWOC in #VictoriaBC - Please boost.
Our newest program is here to give BIPOC #menstruators the freedom to be a part of essential activities and not be excluded due to a lack of #MenstrualProducts.
Did you know that up to 70% of menstruators have missed school or work because of their period?
Or that nearly a quarter of Canadian menstruators and a third of menstruators under 25, have reportedly struggled to afford menstrual products for themselves or their dependents?
As an all-women, BIPOC-led and BIPOC-comprised organization, SNIWWOC understands the needs of our community and we are focused on improving their health from a holistic and integrated service model.
With efforts to be #EcoConscious, this program will provide applicants with one #reusable #MenstrualCup to support their period needs.
The #MenstrualFreedom program is funded by The Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, we thank you for your donation!

Black Women, Indigenous Women, and Women of Colour, Transgender, Non-binary, and Two-Spirit community menstruators.
