On the Easter weekend, right on the first day of a new shooting season, I got a few shots of this roebuck. Or, quite many, actually—he seemed chill and even took a quick nap on the field, knowing I was there, too.
Crawling slowly and patiently on the ground helped get these shots—and it was nice to learn only afterwards from my fiancée's cat that ticks were already out of hibernation.
