Continuing work on Faith's shoes. Sometimes adhesive tape does not rip off the acrylic paint I'm replacing with leather paint. (My) acrylic paint does not dissolve in alcohol, but I had mineral spirit (Terpentinersatz) and tried that. It works. That will be a messy and slow process though... glad most of the paint comes off easily. And then finally painting the shoes again, this time with paint that stays on :)

Severed Steel por R$ 4,74 (90% Off) no Steam

Jogo indie, muito bem polido. Recomendo fortemente, principalmente para quem curte a temática cyberpunk e jogos em primeira pessoa com "parkour" (este até lembra um pouco Mirror's Edge).

O que mais gostei foi a interação com cenário (como escalar uma parede "chutando-a"), inclusive destruindo-o: com muitos tiros é possível furar a parede e, com o canhão a la Samus / Megaman, até mesmo entrar num prédio abrindo um rombo no topo (ou atacando por baixo, inimigos que estão no andar superior).

PS: há também efeito bullet time.

Disassembled the runner bag and made a paper template / prototype for the outer pockets. Searched my stuff for matching buckles and materials for the pocket lids. Satisfying results! Sewing and photos tomorrow.
I also analyzed the swing bag, which is Faith's main bag (the runner bag is more like a quest item). I have matching straps, zippers and buckles already and will make a template for the pockets later just like I did for the runner bag. Good progress :)

I've been pretty unfocused for a few weeks, but it's better now and while I wasn't necessarily less productive, I like me some proper To Do lists and priorities.

I want to take Faith to LBM, which is mid March. I won't get everything done, but want to finish runner bag, wig, MagRope and either vest or sling bag. I hope to get help with the wig at Crafting Com.
Meanwhile it would make sense to experiment with boot covers. I also still have two bags to finish for Lightning.

Project detail 3495834: For some reason, I have a lot of these padded modular inserts for camera bags. I probably forgot some of them every time I sold a camera bag (which was quite a few times, I'm picky with my bags). I'll use them to create a padded camera pocket in my runner's bag. Carrying the camera around in the bag worked well at Anime Festival, but provided little protection, and a runner must never let damage happen to transported goods.

My skin felt cooperative today, so I experimented a little further with Faith's eye make-up. I quickly got used to the weird smell of the eye-liner and the feeling on the skin. Decided to use tape to make drawing the triangles easier. I used actual painter's tape. It actually worked great but naturally wasn't comfortable. If you know more skin-friendly alternatives, please suggest!
I'm still struggling with how to hold the eye-liner, but 100% made progress today.

I accumulated a couple note- and sketchbooks over a lot of years, some probably go back to me being a kid. I stopped drawing when I was like 4 and I started using a PC age 7. There was a brief period where I would write fictitious journals but otherwise, those books collected dust.
When trying shapes for the MagRope, I discovered that I like drawing shapes related to my cosplays, and since that's a useful skill, well, might as well practice a bit. So here's page 1.

I thought it might be funny to put a not-AirTag in Faith's runner bag since these bags are kinda trackable in-game.

1. Apple's system has cm precision nearby tracking.
2. Android's system doesn't have that.
3. There are much less tags for Android and they are more expensive.
4. I have an Android phone.
5. Not sure about the "show yourself" sounds. The runner bags have a constantly repated sound in Catalyst.

Might build something myself instead.
