@spotlightonpod I think floppy disk music peaked in the early 90s, as a way to exchange MOD (multitracker) files in person, especially at any demo party.
Multitracker files fit on3.5 floppy disks quite well. You could even fit a demo with music

I'm not the only one, or am I? Found old #recordings on an old #tascam #multitracker and got the stupid idea to re-record it on a modern #DAW. And now? Yes! I gotta reverse-engineer all my guitar tracks from somewhat 20 years ago. Hell, what have I played, back then!?
...and its all about #cats and #bilberries
I finally decided to get rid of my extra #cassette #multitracker (a #Tascam414) a few months ago but not only have I not sold it I just bought this #Yamaha #MT100 off Craigslist. It was *incredibly* dusty and I couldn't get it to do more than turn on when I was buying it, but it turns out the buttons just require a firm touch. Seems like it's fully functional.
It was $20.
