Bluberries growing, with beautiful flowers. Or technically I guess they’re bilberries but over hear we just call them blueberries (mustikka) and the actual blueberries are known as “bush blueberries (pensasmustikka).

#Jagodzianka (a traditional #Polish bun with #bilberries, #Vaccinium myrtillus, that is currently very hyped in #Poland, similarly to #cardamom buns in #Copenhagen) and #zakwas buraczany diluted with water

A glass with bright pink fluid, almost radioactive looking. A plate with half a bun, cut open so that the inside is revealed, which is a blueberry filling.

Bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) or in irish "Frochan" starting to ripen on roadside bushes. Traditionally collected on the last Sunday in July they seem to be ripening earlier these days.
