#Autumn is an important season in temperate climates, necessary for numerous organisms to prepare for #winterdiapause. I here show #floweringplants on a dry #meadow in #Berlin in mid-#October 2025: #Achillea #millefolium, #Echium #vulgare, #Berteroa #incana, #Jacobaea #vulgaris. They serve as last #nectarsource for various insects. But what effect does #globalwarming actually have on autumn (further reading)?
