Ok serious question my #homelab #nerdz. How many of you are running containers / lxc containers on bare metal hardware?

Has the performance between bare metal and vm's pretty much evaporated? Or is there still a thing to running stuff on bare metal.

I seem to have this complex that I want to pay for or get the most performance I can buy.. After discovering and #NG whatever its called and #proxmox.. I know #proxmox can run lxc. Now i'm debating running everything in vms
